Ah, August—a month that feels like a distant memory as I finally catch up on two months of missed diary entries... whoops!
This past month was a whirlwind filled with tissues, naps, and cozy layers, thanks to the flu making an unwelcome appearance in our household. It knocked us down like wildfire as we tried to ride it out. I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone!
I could easily call this month "survival of the fittest." I felt like I was doing everything and anything possible to move our stock and boost sales. Boy, it’s tough out there! Honestly, it was a rough old month thats for sure.
We enjoyed plenty of park trips, and fluffier winter layers were in constant rotation. I also did some cute resets of Scarlett's room, which is definitely my favorite spot in our home.
And, of course, our beloved Brigittes brunches continued! If you're in Christchurch and haven’t visited yet, you absolutely must—especially for the breakfast burrito; it’s delicious!
We also embraced a beautiful new brand that I’m thrilled to be working with. The gorgeous Coveted Impression Kits create the most memorable pieces of jewelry using Scarlett's sweet fingerprints. A little shameless plug, but you can find out more here!
As August wrapped up, I started preparing for the Baby Expo. It’s always such a fun time setting up a mini stall in our warehouse, organizing our stock, and playing tag with the tagging machine!
Here’s to a healthier September! 🌼
